Welcome to Middle School Writing Project (MSWP)'s blog site! MSWP is an EDUCATION CONNECTION grant-funded program serving 125 middle school students in Duggan School, Salisbury Central School, Thomaston High School, WAMOGO, and Woodbury Middle School.
MSWP is an academic enrichment program focusing on writing! Students will work closely with professional, published authors in hour-long writing workshops on each program date. Professional authors will share their expertise with the students in hands-on and exciting ways! Students will take the opportunity to read their work to their peers.
Towards the end of the school year, students will submit at least one piece of writing to have published in the Middle School Writing Project's Literary Journal. Each student will receive a copy of this compilation on our last program date!
Please check back here throughout the year to see what your child/ren is/are doing in MSWP!
For any questions about our program, please contact Kristin Nauheimer (MSWP Program Manager) at [email protected]!
