Day A students had a great, though chilly, first program day at Massaro Farm. We learned about what makes a CSA special. We tested pH levels of soils, tasted sorrel and tomatillos, met some really friendly chickens, ate a "pollinator picnic" while learning about how plants reproduce, and investigated the physics of farm tools and equipment. Unfortunately Day B had to be postponed due to weather. Day B students will be going to Massaro Farm on November 7. See you there! |
